Take time to smell the roses, and let others smell them too. As a good entrepreneur, you (and your team) are likely to have your heads down working 80+ hours per week. This type of schedule and mindset do not lend themselves to allowing yourself to enjoy the fruits of your labor. But trust me on this one, based on my experience and those of many people whom I greatly respect, you will be kicking yourself later in life if you don’t take some time to enjoy your successes as you go. One way to ensure that you pay attention when you should be enjoying yourself a bit, is to set goals (milestones) and determine in advance how you will reward yourself and your team when you hit those milestones. Your rewards do not have to be extravagant or expensive, but they must be enjoyed fully mindful of the reason(s) you are celebrating. Such an approach may cost you a bit of time and money, but it also will tend to condition you and your team to want to achieve even more and greater goals as often as possible.
