Enduring Failure In Order To Succeed

Share

Success is ninety-nine percent failure.
_____________
Soichiro Honda

It’s well established that almost no one becomes successful instantly. History is full of stories of those who endured one failure after another on their way to success. In this quote, the founder of one of the great car manufacturers, Honda Motor Company, takes the concept of enduring failure on the way to success to another level. Is success really 99 percent failure? If you think about it, he’s probably right. Maybe it’s not quite this high in some cases, but on average, those who have attained great success have also had to endure a tremendous volume of “failure”. So, once again, as an achiever, you must develop the mindset of learning from your failures, then rapidly moving on again in the direction of your goals and dreams.
