Compare Your Achievements With Your Goals

Winners compare their achievements with their goals, while losers compare their achievements with those of other people.

First, it is important to have goals. Next, you must realize that your goals, not the accomplishments of others, should be your yardstick for achievement. Succeeding as an entrepreneur or an achiever in any realm of life is about setting goals for yourself and doing everything in your power to attain those goals. While you may note and even acknowledge the achievements of others, don’t become jealous of or obsessed with what others are doing; it will only distract you from attaining your own objectives.
