Persistence is the Biggest Key to Success as an Entrepreneur

You’ve no doubt heard this one before, but this particular lesson warrants emphasis and reemphasis (and more reemphasis) – persistence is perhaps the most important key to success in entrepreneurship.  Daily, maybe even hourly, as an entrepreneur you will run into challenges, some of which seem insurmountable – do not believe it; through perseverance (and the resulting ingenuity that often occurs) you can overcome almost any obstacle.  History is replete with examples of entrepreneurs, athletes, politicians and others who accomplished great things only after many (sometimes hundreds!) of attempts.  They did not listen to the doubters in the peanut gallery; they kept their eyes on their objectives and continued fighting until they were achieved or often far surpassed.  The importance of this lesson cannot be overemphasized – keep it in mind as you build your business.  You  will run into a lot of obstacles – it’s unavoidable – keep pressing on..
